Heading back...

I really enjoyed my trip in Greece... Right now I'm heading back to Athens to catch my flight back to the good old USA.  Me and Kami somehow split up while we were in Crete, but we met back up at the airport.  I wish I had more time to spend and explore Greece but maybe next year =)

Last Day In Rhodes...

So for my last day in Rhodes I went to the Archaeological Museum of Rhodes.

The Archaeological Museum of Rhodes is housed in the medieval building of the Hospital of the Knights. The building was begun in 1440 by Grand Master de Lastic with money bequeathed by his predecessor, Fluvian, and completed in 1489 by Grand Master d'Aubusson.  Consisiting of many historical things

Still in Rhodes...

The next morning I got dressed and headed to the first floor to eat breakfast.  After I ate I went to Filerimos

Filerimos is near the village of Trianta, which stands on the same site as the Doric city of Ialysos, in ancient times. A lot of ancient ruins can be found on the hilltop. The monastery of Filerimos was built in the 5th century AD by the Byzantines. Near it there are the ruins of the ancient Ialyssos. Going through this little town just gives me a little bit of history

While in Rhodes... Part 2

After the Marine Aquarium I went to Rodini park

Rodini park seemed like it was a nice place to go and just explore.  Some say this park might be the first landscaped park in the world. The park lies in a green and shady bed of a stream. The peacocks like to live there and they breed freely in the park. It's a beautiful place to just go and relax anytime you want to. There is also a Breeze along the bank of the stream.  After visiting the park I decided to call it a day.

While in Rhodes...

So I am finally in my last city that I have planned to go and it is Rhodes... I over looked a lot of different places in Rhodes. There is so many places to see but I only have so much time left.  Once I was comfortable in Rhodes I headed out to the Marine Aquarium.

The Marine Aquarium was incorporated 1945 as a peripheral station of the Greek Hydrobiological Institute under the supervision of the Athens Academy.  Is has been operating as an Aquarium-museum and research unit since 1963. The National Centre for Marine Research (NCMR) is who it belongs to, which is developing its research activities in oceanography, fisheries and inland waters corresponding institutes. The NCMR falls under the supervision of the General Secretariat of Research and Technology belonging to the Ministry of Development.  This Aquarium was very beautiful.  I loved the inside where you can walk underneath the Aquarium

So many people come to this place and enjoy themselves... Well.  I know I did.
